I currently perform a finger ring on string, with pleasing success. What I am trying to do now is to SECRETLY pass one end through to be able to perform ring off string as I pass the two ends to the spectator. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find the answer?

Yes, Card Shark. Try Bob Miller's "Relentless Ring and String" video. It has a lot of info, and exactly the move you are looking for. I think the actual move is "Off" from "Ray's Ring and Rope Routine" video, by Ray Grismer.

I explain a couple of moves (including Ray Grismer's) that accomplish your goal in the two finger ring and string routines included in my book, "Great Scott! It's More Magic!"

Check out "Clifton's Ring Move" in Earl Nelson's "Variations" - which has just been reprinted in a newer expanded edition.
It is so good and so easy (Fred Kaps used it)! ![]()
