Hey guys !

heres a card act performed by a guy in YouTube :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rr-MKmbLuk

Can anyone here tell me where can I learn the card production @ 4:02 ?
Whereby the magicians produced the cards by clipping between of his fingers .
I don't know what is that called . Smile

Please shed some light ! Thanks

These are split fan productions. Check out the Lewis Ganson Routined Manipulation or the Jeff McBride, Jeff Sheridan and Tony Clark DVDs.

Hi,

You can find a different way o doing that card production in the series called Eccentriks. Its made by Charlie Frye. Its 3 volume. This production is in the second volume. Its very similar to Mahka Tendos as he said on Dvd.

An added Note

We met briefly at Hollywood magic & he tip the method to me and explained that he must use a 'gripping' lotion to make the cards tacky......One of the reason he says his card manip..ie split fans are some what akward in performance...but he loves the Florish

I saw McBride do something like whats in the video a few years ago at a lecture opening. I was by far the most beautiful manipulation I have ever seen. Its worth the time to learn...Good Luck

For the record, Charlie Frye's version cannot be used as a production.

The mahka tendo Version again is Not his but was written up in an old magic Book (What has/nt !)

Mahka Simply reaches into a Box & takes out 2 cards that R split into the 10.....Again very pretty But he needs the goo.....read previous post.

Jeffrey y McBride does a version, to open his card segment again by simply reaching into a box & removing a card That is split into 10....This flourish goes back to the days of Hoffman & has been performed by many performers, Pollock , Cardini Ross, among others thru out the years.. it is shown in a photo in the book the Illustrated History of magic , by M. Christopher.

Hey!
Do you all speak about this production:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RKC_6PV_Zo

(at 5:20)

...I want also to learn it, but nowhere could find it!

I bought the Eccentricks Dvd, on vol 2 there is a similar production, but not this one!!

I tried and tried but don't get it down!

Ok from between pinkie and ring finger to between ring and middle finger is ok, but next move, I cant figure out!!
Three cards in front positon and the fourth one is showing the back!

..ok and then comes a fith one, but at first I want to manage the 4 cards!

Any help?

No actually, though the one you want to learn is considerably easier than the Tendo production.

The tendo production is that one, explained on the eccentricks dvd?
If its so, I think the tendo is easier!!!
