Can anyone tell me if this is a barehanded blendo? If it is, is it difficult to do?
How is the handling? Are there any good resources for silk magic other than Rices Encyclopedia? http://themagicwarehouse.com/cgi-bin/findit.pl?x_item=SI3245

I dropped by to answer your resource question; I don't know the effect from magicwarehouse so I can't comment on it. If you are interested in just Blendos, the Rice Encyclopeida has the biggest collection of them in Volume 3, which can still be obtained from Silk King Studios in a hard copy edition (preferred). Of course you can get the entire Encyclopedia on CD, but the quality is very poor. Whomever scanned it didn't bother to edit it, so there are all sorts of errors as a result of the optical character recognition process. However, at the moment, it's the best we have unless you can get the real books in an auction. There ARE other sources for silk magic, but they look pale compared to the Rice Encyclopedia. You can find silk/handkerchief magic in Tarbell, Greater Magic, even the Hoffmann books. From the Learned Pig site, you can find Stillwell's Handkerchief Manipulation Act, New Handkerchief Tricks by Ellis Stanyon, Silken Sorcery by Jean Hugard, and in various sections of general magic books like the Mark Wilson Course and so on.
On my site you can find indices for many of these books so you can narrow down the ones you might be interested in.

Hi Matt
I have a non gimmicked Blendo for sale. You count 4 - color 18" silks one after the other and they blend into a 36" silk- target design. This is a brend new with the explanation how to fold the silks. It is very easy to do. It is great for kid shows or stage shows. PM me if you are interested.
