I'm putting together a routine, part of which involves a card the spectator thinks of, appearing in the hands of a person in photo from the 1800's. I know such revelations are not a new idea and I believe 'Heirloom' uses such a reveal. Can anyone point me towards other effects that use an old photo, or picture to reveal a card?

I'm glad I have CS then. I'm mostly just trying to avoid reinventing the wheel, with the methodology I'm thinking of.
Thanks. |

Uncle Charlie's Poker Hand from Heirloom's Darkest Secret is a very cool routine. If you don't already know it, look it up for inspiration.

I used a heirloom wallet and with photoshop made 52 sepia photos one for every card. I stack them in the 16 pockets 4 at a time in the CHASED order and there ya go.
You could use a card index there easy to make and slimmer than useing playing cards because the photos are so thin.

The Heirloom Bonus Pack contains an additional set of Uncle Charlie photos. One with no card, one with a card with its back shown, a blank card, aces, jokers, some of the "one off" cards, ESP cards, poker hands, etc. also some with numbers (one with a number large enough to be used with a Kozar Prediction pad). A lot to spark the imagination in this bonus pack.
