Since you all have a head start on me, how is 2008 so far?

Great although I'm having a bit of a deja vu feeling, because it still feels like 2007. Maybe cause ive been sitting infront of the computer for a few hours.
Happy new year Ezzet |

Not too shabby actually. An Irish man here, totally sober!
they spent £1.1m on the fireworks show. I think it could have been better spent perhaps on maybe the National Health Service or the homeless. |

Wow David!
That's a lot of money. I hope it was at least a good show. You mention sobriety, here's to wishing you become drunk on peace and happiness! Flow, DT3 |

Well here at my house in Florida we have spent a slightly exorbitant amount on pork roast, sour kraut and garlic mashed potatoes.
Not quite as exciting as fireworks but I'm sure a good bit less than 1.1M pounds! Whatever your poison, enjoy it tonight and let's start tomorrow as though we were Conquistadors overqualified to run with bulls in Pamplona. That may have been stretching it a little, but that's what happens when you overdose on a lethal combination of Roald Dahl and Antoine de Saint Exupery. Shame on me, I've read the accounts of others mixing such...I should know better. Still much less lethal than JM Barrie and L. Carroll. That's like Absynthe, man! DT3 |

I got in from a gig and decided to stay up to work up an idea. It's now 4:45am. More coffee, I think.

That London Fireworks show was unbelievable, the most incredible pyrotechnics display I have ever seen.

The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

I spent new year's eve granny-sitting so my mum could go out. Still, I beat my gran at Scrabble - which is unusual.
2008 is going to be so cool.
