Gordon Bean's great effect from The Paper Engine by Aaron Fisher. Comments are greatly appreciated!

LOL I apologize... Ironically, the main light source was just eliminated from that particular room.

It didn't entertain me because:

1. Couldn't see your face. It's a story telling trick. You need to see your face to connect with the audience.

2. Personally the line about sex appeal seemed a little off coming from a young person such as yourself.

3. Not enough variation in pitch to create interest in the story.

4. Seemed kinda rushed.

Glad you took my comment in good spirit. It wasn't meant to be mean. I was trying to make the point that you can do a great show but if your audience can't see you or your are not "bright" then you can expect to be a "star".

For all the trouble and time you take to work on a routine and the handling of the cards you need to take a bit more time to set your stage..no matter how small.

You've got some talent Michael.. but lets SEE it. (with some lighting) LOL

Best,

Tim

Points taken, and thanks very much. I never even considered the fact that my face wasn't showing. I also tried to make a decent presentational variation and the pateer in the video suited me. It isn't quite the same as the presentation from The Paper Engine but I can understand where you're coming from.

Also, thank you very much Tim! Setting the stage is great advice! I see lots of workers these days who are just so scattered that it is hard to follow, especially with cards.
