Hopping Halves and Dynamic Coins. Most bought card effects tend to be lame.

Tim Starr's mutilated parasol. I got this off e-bay about 2 weeks ago. I love it. I can't wait to try it out! Smile

I would have to say...for gimmicked effects:
Deep Astonishment Smile
Twisted Sisters
Color Monte

I have to say though, I still love my Ammar ETMCM.

I get a lot of mileage from those effects!

Deep Astonishment ... I don't like the given handling, but it's definitely strong.

The Best in Magic to me would be:

Art of Astonishment Series
Silver Shifter
Reality Twister
Ultimate Three Card Monte
Bill Malone DVD's
Ninja Rings DVD
3 Fly
Silver Bullet Lite
Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic(THE Beginners book)
Expanded Shell
Flipper Coin
Scotch and Soda
Hopping Halves

That All I can think of now but if I think of any more, I will post them.

One of my favourites is my great Magnetic Street Shells. You can fool anyone on this planet with these excellent shells. Let them point at any shell and they are always wrong Smile
I bought them from Hocus-Pocus in California.

The Tabray Rope Routine Vol. 1. A killer rope routine that never fails to get a great response. I have even fooled magicians with the routine.

My chalet Sub Trunk.. it's been through over 5,000 shows and still works good as new.. though it looks beat to crap... in fact. it's the only illusion I DON:T own a case for.. on purpose..

Todd Lassens Copper Silver Brass gimmick. I use Doc Eason's routine.

I just can't think of "one" that is my best purchase. There are so many that have given me more than I paid. Items like Deans Box, Biro/Porpers Just in case, Vernons books and DVD's, Thompson's DVD's, geez I could go on and on.

I can say that there is one thing I have that I didn't pay a dime for that has given me help, guidance, Ideas's I never would of dreamed of, and friends... That is access to this site! Where else can one go and actually speak to the working pros at no cost.

One of the things I learned from people like Pete Biro, Kohler, Alexander, Larry D, Regal, Hayden, Green, Palmer, John Mendoza, etc is it's all in the performance. You can be a wizard at every sleight known yet still suck.
Cripes, I can entertain a few friends now with a lousy quarter in my pocket all because of this site making me think.

Sorry for going off topic but I got on a roll.. LOL
