Like so many have already said, the best one is the latest purchase, or the one you're currently enthralled with... It's hard to pick just one or two when you do a variety of shows. My favorite tricks/effects/etc... for kids are Axtell Boards (any of them!) and Trixie's "Pop Wand." Two tricks for an endless amount of fun and laughs. For adults, gee -- where do you start? I LOVE Lee Earle's Headline Prediction and I love my No Assistant Nest Of Boxes. That and 100 more are my "favorites."
THANK YOU for helping us carry on our laughter ministry in hospitals to kids of ALL ages. Our visits are ALWAYS free. We NEED & DEEPLY appreciate your gifts of magic so that we can do what we do. Please PM me with questions or, for a faster reply, in most cases please text or call 214-578-1601

James Riser "Tall Chop Cup"
Collector's "In a Guilded Cage"
Are two favorites I perform and enjoy very much.
I am really liking two new things.
Wolf's "Sponge Ball Wand"
Dean Dill's "The Revelation"
Two very different styles, yet very enjoyable to share with an audience!

If it has to be just one, I'd have to say Hopping Half. I've gotten tons of mileage from it and the spec's are always amazed.

The best trick I have EVER purchased is the Mindreading Goose. This routine has helped make my show what it is today and is directly responsible bookings.

I agree with Hopping Half's - a great trick, lots of spectator involvement,
easy, simple and just great fun!

Dean's Triangle is a very powerful illusion and a classic piece of well constructed artwork. Easy to perform and blows people away.

Close second, Dean's Box.

I've got to ask; what set do you use?

Entourage by Gordon Bean.
Steal by Calen Morelli.
Strange Traveler by PH and Blaine.
Naked Angels on Bikes by PH.

Those are simply the best tricks I've bought so far. Packs small and plays big. I carry them everyday except the Steal gimmick as I don't want to ruin it so fast.

Next perhaps would be Aces In Their Faces and Reversible. And yes I'm a big fan of gaff cards and packet tricks. Smile
