I just realised that my post made me sound like a bit of a know it all idiot. Marc is a regular visitor and contributor on here, I'm sure he'll pop by soon. Sorry I can't help, but not my effect.
If you enjoy the any card theme - follow some of Alain Nu's work - his book ANY CARD is winging it's way to me. Will post a review when appropriate. Best, David. |

Eddie burkes selected card at any number is a cheap and cheerful yet very strong ACAAN derivative...you don't have to know the card's value, nor the number beforehand either...
eight quid...dead easy to do too...

That's if you don't access to the house that J ack built.
For free you can get the info to my fascinating CAAN. It's posted on the wall next to the downstairs bathroom.

I've been lucky enough to be told some very interesting information about the fabled ACAAN effect..unbelievable!
Dave Forrest's Autobahn version is supposed to be extremely good...

I would suggest going domewhere else to find a method for this routine. This Spelmann fellow hasn't turned out anything that was ever any good.

I found Barrie Richardson's thinking on the subject to be very interesting. Check out Theater of the Mind and Act II, both books devote a fair amount of time to the any card at any number theme.

Barrie's is lovely, but my favourite?
George "Patrick G Redford's" Rain King - logical plot (and isn't THAT always overlooked with ACAAN -who we fooling? Magicians? Or the paying public?), borrowed deck, and a nice package (although I confess, third phase doesn't play as well as the comic strip ;-)

That is interesting ... I didn't even realize it, indeed weird!
I assure you though, that the computer has nothing to do with the demonstration other than a mere number selection. This can be done by plainly asking anyone for a number between 1 and 52, but the skeptics are vicious on YouTube so I wanted to use the random number generator (though it won't really matter). Just read some of the comments on my videos, everything from accusing me of collusion with the camera person to the direct suggestion that I need to die. Fun. But anyway, back to Spelmann ... I need to see this, I don't have the 4th DVD. Maybe I'll pick it up tomorrow.

drzodiac "drzodiac" is Scott X, and Alexandre's video is reminiscent of the 1986 movie, "Sticky Business." And what's up with the finger steepling? Oh - by the way - the thread is about Marc Spelmann, not you again. |

Anyone knows how to access this on the 4th DVD? I read here that it plays after the last explanation, but mine just ends with the credits, then up comes the title menu.
