Don't ask me why, but I clicked on the link at his fan forum. They're discussing something I think from Season 1. A borrowed ring freezes inside an ice cube. One member of the forum stumbled upon the possibility that a stooge was used. And then says "This is highly unlikely though." What rubes.
In regards to his "activities" being tabloid fodder. I really could not care any less. I don't care for Criss, or his magic. But I do have to say that what he does should really be his business. As long as it's not illegal, (and I don't think fooling around with Paris Hilton is, maybe it should be) the press should keep out of his private life. This is how I feel about all the celebrity rags in the grocery store. Now, someone like MJ, that's a different story, but 2 consenting adults? Who really cares. |

We all have our own personal standards. I'm no saint. I've done shows that would make Snake Babe blush!
That said... Cirque has a great reputation. For them to put it in the gutter is a mistake. You can't just mix and match ... We're Good ... We're Naughty ... They have always produced Family Entertainment and it is questionable to try and cash in on the other end. Disney also had a few problems with their VISION and corrections were made. Cirque is re-thinking this gamble.

Their shows have deep and very often dark sub tones. O for instance is set in the underworld and is their version of Orpheus. Not particularly a happy fun filled children's story.

The more lurid and nasty it is, the deeper they wallow in it.
It's just tabloid reality, and Chris Angle seems to love it as much as Britteny, Parish, and Rosey O'dougal, do... >sigh<

I can only assume that those in Las Vegas reading Slim Kings complaints are having a good laugh about some guy who doesn't understand the difference before reality and theoretical examples. Just in case, I've emailed them with the missing words. You guys really are funny. |

I'm sure they are laughing since I've never complained to the guys in Las Vegas ( And YOU sent them an email... where to?)
But you are right if what you say is true. CA would never do such a thing... right? I've often heard people mention Theoretical Example as a Wink Wink disclaimer.... But this wouldn't be the case here would it be...? I like the word SKANKTACULAR I think Cirque should work it into the promo Don't Miss SKANKTACULAR By JERK DU SOLEIL

But you are right if what you say is true. "If" what I say is true? Easy to check- just go to the website listed in the OP (http://www.vegastripping.com/trippies2007/readers/overrated/). That's something you probably should have done in the first place. Quote:

I did look it up before I posted. But why would the website make up things....and then try to cover their butt ... because they were wrong? Are you saying the website is wrong ( If so, why did they put out the article at all?), or me because I repeated their article?

But why would the website make up things.... I don't know. Why do other tabloids like the National Enquirer make up things? Maybe because there's so many people who will just believe anything they write and that's how they make money. But you should probably ask them why. Quote:
and then try to cover their butt ... because they were wrong? They weren't wrong. They clearly said they were giving a theoretical example. I suppose if they just reported it as a real fact they could get their butt sued off for being wrong (or not being able to prove they were right). Quote:
Are you saying the website is wrong Wrong about what? The website made up a story and reported it saying that it was a made up story. I'm saying that report is not evidence of anything other than the writer's imagination. Quote:
If so, why did they put out the article at all?) Again, I don't know and you'd have to ask them. Maybe Angel has annoyed them so they're just making stuff up trying to destroy him and admitting they made it up to cover their butt. Maybe the writer just thought it would be a funny example. Quote:
or me because I repeated their article? Or you (and the original poster) because you quoted their article but left off the fact that is was not being claimed as fact. Suppose someone made a post here saying "we don't want to see any more stupid posts here about Slimking being a child molestor (theoretical example)". Then somebody else that doesn't like you sent that quote to your boss leaving off the "theoretical example" part. Who would be wrong- the guy that made the post or the guy that repeated it as a fact? |

Slim has been obsessed with Criss ever since he caused his friend Jim to have a hissy fit on live TV. He loves to kiss Jim's butt and has this false belief that he can ruin Angel's career. Slim should probably just get on with his life and stop having this unhealthy obsession.
