I have manufactured my universal utility clip since the 70's, it was good enough for people to knock it off and sell it in their lectures.
My clip is $5 and holds a jumbo coin, a full deck of bridge or poker cards, a spread of 6 coins, appearing cane, stocks of cards (used by Jeff McBride, Lance Burton, Irv Weiner, and Paul Gertner.
You can use it as a ball holder as well. I have also used it as a vanisher with a slight modification.

It received 3 stars in Genii (they didn't give four stars to utility devices back then).

I was working at a magic shop when those came out. I bought several of them, then and there. and added them to every jacket I owned. Excellent device. It was one of those things that when I saw it, I realized immediately what it was, or at least what it resembled, which probably spawned those knock-offs. I kicked myself for not thinking of it first.

The knock-offs were usually cheaply made and did not hold nearly as well. Too slick.

Thanks Michael, the newset batch is all leather, and wider mouth so it can accomodate 4" coin or edges of coins, also very quiet. The wider size make for less tension on cigarettes and can hold 8 or so at a time. I have a booklet of ideas with it in the works.
