I can't wait to get this! Just one question, that I need an answer for, does this use a Thumb Tip? I hate thumb tips and hate to use them. I hope this doesn't use one.

I think Andrew Mayne will be coming out with a new effect, excluding the two brand new ones!

If you look here, http://itricks.com/news/ there is a picture of Andrew with all of his products behind him. One of the products is called twisted, and I have never seen it.

It looks like a dollar bill is twisted half and half.

Couldn't find the video for anything. How about another link?

OK. I googled it and found the video of "twisted" elsewhere. As I viewed it there were so many edits that I wonder if some very critical moves were left out.

I have to wonder if it really "flows" as nicely as the demo.

The only thing that would seem weird to a spectator is that when he tears the bill it is a perfect straigh tear, which is impossible.

That would be pretty tough to explain away...

My idea, is to say ," In order to do this you have to tear the bill perfectly in half, there is no going back..try this with your mom's 100 dollar bills when you get home" It'll just add laughter and they won't so much about how the heck you tore a bill pretty much perfectly in half. If not that then act like you put some technique into doing it.

I just got mine today. It is VERY clevar. I really, really like it. No cutting up bills or anything like that. The gimmick only takes a few minutes to make, I will have a full review up tonight.

In the version where the mis made bill is handed out, the tear can be as imperfect as you want.

It's signed by the spectator completely.

The video demo does several breakaways. Why can't the effect just be shown? Very annoying to watch.

Guess I'll pass on it.

There are no secret moves done during the "breakaways" in the demo.

Then why have the breakaways?

So you can't rework the whole effect. The demo shows the main points of the routine, it doesn't need to show more. People reverse engineer the effect.

I agree with Christopher. The breakaways seem to be where the important moves belong. I'm sure someone will post their routine once they buy it and then we'll see a proper performance of it. How bout you EddyRay?

The blurry titles made me want to break out my dual colored 3D glasses. LOL

Best,

Tim

I know "some" people can reverse engineer, probably because they like to solve puzzles, riddles, etc. But..most likely they'd miss important touches, etc. So...show the routine. I'm sure there is much more to it than simple moves.

The folks that love it, good for you. I just get annoyed at these type of demos/trailers.

Or, don't put a trailer up. Most things I buy have no trailers. It's just when an annoying one is shown...I pass on buying it. It's like I'm being told "ha ha, gotcha".
