The ones you listed are some of the "greatest hits." A few others are:

Stripper Deck
Koran deck
Pop-eyed popper deck
Diamond Jim's Diamond Deck
Mental Photography Deck
Diminishing Returns
In a Flash
Haunted deck
McCombical deck
Card Toon
Cardiologist deck
Cardian Angel
Kids Kards
Rainbow deck
Marked deck
Radar deck
Deja Vu deck
Forcing deck (1-way, 2-way, etc.)

(Some of these might not count depending on how you loosely or literally you define "gaffed")

Reverse Svengali. Not as common as its brother, but it does have some excellent uses.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Wow magicbob you named a lot! I love on a flash and I would consider that a deck and not much of a gimmick too!

I looked this one up since I wasn't familiar with it. At first I thought... $40 for a one trick deck????

Then I watched the demo video! Wow. I'm not fond of all the seemingly random cuts, but the pay-off seems worth it.

jonnyboy... do you have this? Is the handling extrememly difficult? It looks like you would need to be a card sharp/manipulator to control all those random marks in place to spell one of 52 different possibilities. Unless the deck itself is extemely devious, that is. I'm not fishing for the method, just an assessment of the difficulty of the trick. Thanks.

Magicbob- The handling is not really that difficult, and within the reach of anyone who handles cards. There is some thinking that you must do, but it is readily learnable. I have some concern about cards sliding a bit (due to air entrained between the cards) when placing them on the table, as you see on the video. So I have the spectator hold the packets as I cut them off the deck, and to concentrate on their card, and maybe we can cut to it. Of course, the payoff for their concentration is at the end, in a totally unexpected manner. Really, it is one of the most interesting and clever decks I've seen. Kind of fun just to play around with. You should be able to get it for about $33 if you look around online.

Here is an oldie:

MeneTekel. Seldom used anymore but still a viable tool!

Another good one is Hull's "Tuned Deck" from "Greater Magic"
Taylor's "Peek Deck" from The Jinx and J.G. Thompson's explorations of it.

Best,
Vlad

My friend Lawernce Turner started marketing his Oracle Deck just over a year ago, but he's lost enthusiasm and removed it from sale, which is a shame. Basically, you fan the deck face up, have the spec select a card (it's a free choice) which she holds face up on her palm. You spread the backs to show them all. It's a red deck because that makes any messages you might write easier to see, you explain. The rest of the backs have nothing written on them, however. Only one card in the deck has a message and that's not here. She turns over her card. It's the one with the message.

I love this deck. The message can be anything, there's no force, and it's 100% guaranteed. I got a very strong round of applause, a big hug and a kiss for performing it for two people simultaneously at a double birthday party last year in Bristol.

Jon, this sounds similar to the Chameleon Deck, but with different cards and a different ending.
Or is this something different?

I think it's possibly something different. He developed it in the secrets area of TalkMagic and no one had heard of the same principle being used previously, but you never know.
