The Café's search is down, can anyone help with these two items? As for the change bag, I am looking for one that looks much nicer than the standard ickle pickle type.

For the change bag, brass in nice, but I am open. I just want it to say "class", and I want it to be larger than most. It would be nice if it were a "zipper" version. I found a couple online, but it is hard to tell from photos.

As for the rubber frying pan, I spent a lot of time looking on line w/o much luck. I did get the idea of using a black rubber feeding tray they use for animals. I may also look into a silicon pan.

I bought one from Practical Magic in the UK. They sell several bags, but the one I bought is made in Austria or Germany, and is the nicest one I've ever had. It was about $120.00. It works the same way as the classic P&L style.

Owen Magic still makes a beautiful P&L style change bag, but you will pay a lot for it. My guess is that it's $300.00 or more.

Captain, the frying pan may be a tough one. You might want to contact someone in clowning. Peechy Keen makes lot's of foam rubber clown items, and he might know where to get a rubber frying pan......if there is one to be found.

My knowledge on how the Circus makes these pie pans is from foam and then dips/paints them in colored latex. The person I would go to who custom makes things from rubber foam is Karen Bell. Peachy Keen is at: http://www.peacheykeene.com/ but I don't know if he Latex Dips his products. The latex really makes them last a very long time and makes them more rigid.

Captain, if you check out Tim Sonefelt's site at http://www.wonderimagery.com he has an effect with a very High Class Change Bag, I own it an love it. This is the whole effect as you can see in the picture the Change Bag is High Quality and looks GREAT. I know he will sell the change bag by itself for Approx ( $30.00-40.00) somewhere in that price range.

So let me get this straight- you have a kid with crossed eyes and you put the change bag over his or her head and whap it with the rubber skillet. When you remove the change bag, their eyes are uncrossed, but then they spit out all their teeth. Is that the routine?

Hey, if it was a kid I wouldn't use a rubber skillet! *G* Naw, it is for me. I plan to put a few sight gags in the show, possible create a new character based on cartoons.
