Anybody knows anything about that illusion builder (Dominick magic)? Every piece of information is welcome.

Thanks.

Europes best known knock off illusion builder.

His illusions are of questionable construction, many people have previously stated that they had to make additional modifications to get his to work properly. One need only look at his unauthorized copy of an Origami illusion, next to a picture of a legitimate Origami made by Gaughan or Wellington and the difference is that his is not deceptive.

Dominic makes no royalty payments to the original illusion creators. Caveat emptor.

Stay away...hands down. Not only are many of the illusions unauthorized, but they are of poor quality and not deceptive.

A woman was hurt while using one of is knockoffs. Good thing she was the performers wife as its normally and audience member used for this illusion. The wife got a pretty good gash to the head when the illusion failed. If it had been an audience member there would have been a pretty good lawsuit.

Stay away.

Best,

Tim

Imagine to buy illusions like impaled from this dude ...or death table ...you could be in a real danger or could kill the assistent with his garbages ...there are a lot of stupid guys who buy his craps just because they wants to push a box on the stage.
Stay away from this garbages and don't forget cheap give , cheap receive.
best regards fellows.

I would rather take any of the homemade illusions from when I was 12 or 13 on stage TODAY than use any of their "professional equipment". Not to mention the danger factors that others have mentioned.

Does Tilford deal with Dominick? It looks like he has some of the same illusions. Shouldn't we tell others not to buy from him as well? Just a question.

Other partner of Dominic is, I think, Select Magic in Belgium. They have almost all of the illusions as in Dominic studios, but hey are not exposed on their website. Cansomeone confirm the relationship between Dominic and Select please?

I think is better divulgue/talk about Bad and dangerouse building illusions.
I know some magic builder, he can copy a prefect illusions with the best construction, Materials and perfection! And more cheaper than the creator (I respect the creator).
knockoffs in general is not synonymous with bad quality.

How can you "respect the creator"
when you are bragging about a builder who does
"perfect illuions...cheaper than the creator".
Sounds like you want it both ways.

No matter how good the copy, it is a copy.
The originator or his agents are the only people
with permission to make certain illusions,
no matter their prices!

My thoughts,

Jay?
"think twice"?

Posts have said:
-his illusions are unsafe,
-poorly made,
-not deceptive,
-rip-offs he has no authority to reproduce.

And all that makes you only think TWICE?

I'd run as fast as I could in the other direction.

But that's me,
Walt
