This is from a recent series on magic the BBC did. These clips are from the "close-up magic" episode. Some great stuff.

Pepka: NO clue... LOOKS LIKE A BRIT tho... I'll tell you Paul Daniels KILLS with his chop cup. I've seen him do it in a theater for 1000. He featured it in his act when he played the Tropicana in Las Vegas. He uses a Ken Brooke cup. Stevens Magic is re-introducing that cup (made by the Jakemeister)!!!!

Was the Paul Daniels bit meant to be the end? The way the music suddenly drops, it's almost as though the file is corrupt.

Here's a great Paul Daniels Chop Cup routine. I can watch it over and over and it still floors me.

Scott... the clip seems to be a tad fast at the beginning, but shows you what a great routine it is. Paul's interaction with the audience is great.

Man I'm glad you said that. I was scared that he was that fast!

I have to agree with Pete Biro, Paul Daniels' chop cup routine is the best I have seen.
Great audience interaction and surprise revelations that don't stop.

No - I have a VHS tape of his routine and that's the real timing. He does that sequence at the beginning FAST. Fabulous routine.

I don't recall him talking THAT FAST... fast, but not as fast as the clip.
