The best thing I have done for my memory lately was buying and reading this book, by Norwegian Oddbjorn By:

I remember sneakily tossing a post it note on a refidgerator with the Knight's Tour on it at a privar party I once worked. (I did remove it before leaving).

At any rate, I get along fine with the Lorayne stuff.

Cool topic.

Nice idea Don, most private parties I go to, all the action is in the kitchen area, it is after all were the booze is kept, the hub if you like. I might give that a go.

The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

They say elephants never forget...
But then, what do they have to remember?

It depends on what type of information you are trying to remember. Ordered or sequential information, for example, can be easily remembered using the Peg-Word Method or the Method of Loci. Names of people, prose, etc., etc. may each be approached with a different technique. I'm sure Harry Lorayne can provide a lot of very helpful and useful information. I still have my copy of "The Memory Book" by Lorayne and Lucas (yes, the basketball player). Excellent stuff.
