I just wanted to say thank you to all who gave input on this project. I really appreciate the helpful guidance and advice you all gave. This is how the finished product turned out. Thanks again for your help. Let me know what you think.

Thanks guys! I thought it came out pretty well for a first try. There are some wrinkles on the outer tube, that's really the only thing I wasn't totally pleased with.

What did you use, contact paper? If so, you have to apply it slowly, pressing out all the wrinkles and bubbles as you go. It helps to have someone else feeding you the paper as you slowly turn and press out the wrinkles.

It looks very nice, the only thing I noticed is that the outside tube look too tall against the inside tube. I checked mine and even so is taller to make the magic happen is not as noticeable. Maybe is the angle of the photo.
I'll pm my measurements so you can check againt yours. Pablo |
