Hi guys! Where could I find the rubber that goes under a close-up mat? Any ideas?
Thanks! |

Contact this company, and start asking questions. I've never used them, but I'd imagine they will have what you want.

It's not as nice as neoprene, but I have used automobile headliner material in a pinch.
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Will 1/4 thick neoprene will do?

Don't see why not. If it works for you...then go for it.
Are you trying to make one? If so, save yourself the effort and go to an office supply store like Staples or Office Depot and get an over-sized mouse pad. They are used to keep monitors and things from sliding around and are perfect. They are also about $10 which is even better than getting a close up mat from a dealer and are about the same size. I'm trying to make my own production pad. Right now I'm thinking of using black velvet for the top and neoprene under the mat. I'd like to be able to produce 4 half dollars, 2 silver dollars and a giant coin (3 inches)
Any of you tried to make one? |
