Hello friends. I have more than 15 professional illusions. I have many suspensions, and now its time to add a real levitation in my act. I already have pole levitation, but I need something with no visible support.
I am looking to purchase a levitation illusion (not a a suspension). There are many in the market, examples: Lighter than air, chair, stool, 360, Gamoto (something like that), etc. I don't like to seat on a chair. I need an illusion that I can remove everything during the effect. Please help me to make my choice by let me know the good and the bad of the levitations you may own. Transportation, weight, number of assistants, angles, size, set up time, distance from audiences etc. are the thinks that I don't know about this illusions. Have it in mind that I perform in big theater but also in smaller venues so, I like a levitation that if is possible, to work everywhere with proper angles. Thank you very much.

Give us more info - do you need a horisontal or vertical levitation, for you or for your assistant? How much money can you spend on this illusion?
Best, Soleil

How about the double levitation by William Kennedy? I go for it. Is not cheap and it is not an small prop, but that´s great!
Good luck! |

I need something that is ok to trasport. A horizontal assistand levitaion. Something that doesn't need a huge stage and one day to set up.
Does anyone know anything about what is called gamoto levitation? (something like this)

What you say about Fechner barsool levitation...is angle proof could be done on any light even in day light and is very very quiet.

I highly recommend the Magellan Sohi, solo, and the witch, from my own professional experience for angles, portability, and amazement.

The levitation by Splashes Creative is highly innovative, with a unique engineering concept that you would never think of.
It requires no backdrop to hide the levitation apparatus. It uses a base that does not need to be raised two to three feet above the floor. It collapses down and can be transported without a van. It does not require any special lighting, nor any BA fabrics. It is truly a beautiful illusion, and a wonderfully made prop. |

If you are really looking for a Levi to add to your act and for it to be serious I would re3commend Splashes or the double Levi, as for the barstool and stuff like that and the levi's that you rise a foot or two are 'nice' to play with but show the youtube video to laymen and see what their reactions are. If you have to save up I recommend you do and get a Splashes levi or Willie Kennedys Air Time, when it comes to levi's you kinda get what you pay for!
