Has anybody used this table from Steve Dacri?

http://www.magicwebchannel.com/Mall_SD_T......ante.htm

Looking at the pictures it seems to come very close to what I'm looking for in a table. It's not brutally expensive, and looks like it packs pretty small.

I'd be interested in hearing the thoughts of anybody who's either bought or used this table.

Look at music sites and drum kits. I'll bet you can find something similar at a great price and equal quality.

Looks like the Instand table to me. I have two of them for both stage and close-up and I really like them. I have attched a link to their website so you can have a closer look and get some additional information.

Stop showing off Doug.
Boy.. some people Smile

I use the magician's table featured on my homepage.
It's basically a beautiful Harbin type table in red (or blue).
The price is right and it folds up smaller than a notebook.

I did a show last friday on stage and after my closer, I folded up my table,
picked up my ditch box of props (a small file folder box with a handle on top) and walked off.

I'll take a photo of my setup later today and post a pic.

The table has a small handle (hand-hole) on top where you could hang a servante (which I plan on doing). I will drop the servante in the box too and proceed as planned.

That's definitely the Instand on Steve's site. You can save a few bucks by going directly to the Instand site. Also, you can customize the table you order.

Jim Cellini used a table like the one on Frank's site in his later years as a busker...according to his street performing series. (I never had the honor of actually meeting him).

Watching him use that table made it seem so practical. I know I'm planning on buying one if I have any $ left over after Magifest next week.

Save one for me Frank!!!

Frank, I have the same table that you have and I really like it but mine is a little wobbly, the legs aren't exactly flush. I was just wondering if yours is the same, it's not much of a problem for me since I don't use it to hold much but it is annoying.

Mine is just right. I was going to get a second one too as a backup. Can you figure out which leg(s) have an issue? Really.. mine is fantastic. Did you get yours from me?

I use mine for my stand-up act and don't do much with it really. Just a few items on it. Certainly not durable enough for busking or close-up work, etc.

Wonderful for parlor or stage, however. Just wonderful.

Now that Harbin table on your website packs up fast and small Frank!

What do you yourself do on it?.......how do you think the 3-shell or endless chain would work on it?
I wonder too Frank, just how many hands of cards could be dealt out onto the table top?

Is it steady enough for 3-shell, endless chain, or say 4 or 5 hands of cards?

I might buy one....I notice on your website that you're running low on them Smile

There's 4 left. My website indicates "low" when there are 5 or less available. I would not use it for any of those tricks.
Too small, too light-weight.

I use it to hold the props for my stand-up act and that ain't much. I don't do anything on the table. It sits there holding stuff. In my act,
2 of the items basically sit there until my closer. The other item is a miser's dream bucket that holds the rest. The act (these days) is very compact, portable, and do-anywhere-able. I really don't even need a table for the act but I don't want to dig around in a case for props. It makes things very convenient for me. Besides, folding it up at the end gets some applause all on its own Smile

There's also a hand-hold (hole) at the rear of the table-top surface so that further reduces the working space.

I have another model available but it is more expensive and larger.
If you want to try out the larger one, let me know and I'll make you a killer deal since you'd be buying it without my recommendation. I've never seen it.

I actually got mine from Hocus Pocus but since I only use it to hold some props in my Stand Up act I never really made any fuss about it. I can't really tell what's wrong with it, just that its only slightly wobbly, not enough to cause any inconvenience but it is enough to annoy some who is very picky. Now that I know that not all of the tables are like this I also have to HIGHLY recommend it.

Frank, do you have a picture for your other table?

It's not nearly as pretty. You'd have to paint it to get that "cool" look.

Um correct me if I am wrong but the INSTAND looks a lot like a eureka table base or a trombone stand as I have come to find out the best thing on that page is the wheels as faras I am concerned. I wish I could see one of these in person before I purchased it as the price is a bit high for my taste if indeed it is what I suspecT.

The instand is very light and easy to carry around. I have one for my laptop and it fits on the laptop bag nicely. I like this better than the harbin because with the 3 leg design you never have to worry about the wobbly effect even on uneven surfaces. I think these are awesome and yes...they are a little pricey but they are well built.
