Along with my collection of site gags I use things found at venues. They become props in a "Whose line is it anyway/improvisation segment".

Of course the first, second and third rules are to ask, safety and know when to quit this segment....

I will start with a prop such as a birthday paper plate.

1st it becomes the steering wheel of a car, truck, or...depending on the size and theme of the plate...

current small plate could be one of those small "smart cars"...

What will you do with the plate next...(after 3 or 4 ideas someone suggest another prop found at a venue.

Two plates put face to face could become a "flying Saucer." - saucer... LOL! no pun intended...

Two paper plates pushed onto each end of a pencil could be a barbell to work out with before the show...

A paper plate (especially an orange one) folded in half and held in your mouth might look like you have a duck bill or a platypus mouth!

A small dessert plate could be a makeshift yamika if your working a bar mitzvah!

Ok another prop found at a venue could possibly be cups. So what can we do with cups that we see at a venue?

- 2 cups with the bottoms cut out can become funny glasses or binoculars to see the kids better

- 3 cups could be used for a cups and balls routine with rolled up napkins or tinfoil

- poke a hole in 2 sides and with string it could become a funny comedy hat

- of course you could hold one up to your ear and the other to your mouth and pretend it is a phone. Then answer and say it is for you.

- If you are a ventriloquist... you can use the cup to catch your own voice in it and then release it later

what else can the cups become?
