Greetings,
Back in December of 2000, I released The Book Of HauntedMagick. To my surprise, it sold like crazy, and it continues to sell very well today. For all of that, I want to say thanks to everyone that has purchased it, and also to those that have said such nice things about it over the years. The one “complaint” that I have received about the book has always been that people would like to have a hardbound copy. Well, after years of getting that request, I decided to throw it out to all of you. So my question is, would anyone out there be interested in a limited special edition (probably between 200-250 copies) of HauntedMagick? It would be hardbound (with dust jacket), and it would contain some previously unreleased material (about 50 additional pages which would include several routines, essays, and a bit of history about the book and our Haunted Chamber). In addition, each copy would be numbered and signed. Based upon the preliminary research that we have done, the retail cost would probably be around $60.00. Also, please be aware that the original $35.00 edition will still remain available for those that are not interested in the special edition. So what do you folks think? Simply put, the decision is your hands. Thanks very much, and take care everyone. Keep the change, Rick |

I bought my soft-copy about 3 years ago - I'd be happy to buy a hardback personally as mine's suffered a fair bit of wear and tear over the years...
the price seems more than fair too...
I've asked to be banned

I would certainly buy a hardbound version, my current one is so well thumbed it's starting to fall apart.
You might say reality is the result of complex negotiations between the observer and the observed. But that is simply a point of view.
Many Thanks Garrad |

I'm happy with softbound for reading and marking up - and since it was only $35 (and IMHo should have been at least $80-100) I'd love to get one in HC to just place up on the shelf with the classics - but how about they have to be numbered and signed by you ?????

Not having it yet, but envying my friends that do, I'd say YES! to a hardcover copy.
What would Wavy do?

I'd buy a hard bound copy if the entire thing was re-edited. I don't mean to cause offense, but I think that a judicious editor (perhaps your friend JH) could help make the book a true hard-bound classic.

I believe Bill said it Best! I'd certainly buy a copy. I would even consider pre-ordering to ensure a low numbered signed copy for my collection.
