Following the trend of film threads, I would like to ask... which films have you fallen asleep on? My parents fall asleep on every film they watch, but it's VERY rare for me to fall asleep during a movie.
There have only been 2: The Illusionist Ghost Rider How about you? Mitchell

Pirates of the Carrabean II, but in defense of Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, et. al., I never saw Pirates I. So I was lost for most of the story line.

Three Men and a Baby, Pirates of the Carrabean 2, the third Harry Potter movie, I've tried three or four times to watch it and can't.

Michael Mystic loves it, even has the DVD....I think he'd love Cruisin' with Al Pacino.

Me, too, Lyndel. Out in 5 minutes. And my wife made me go as well.

The Steve Martin remake of "The Pink Panther".
The only movie I saw in a theater that I ever fell asleep in. It did have a great moment, though: "Is this room soundproof?"
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

National Treasure 2. What a waste of my time.

Lord of the Rings. Which only goes to show that it was a very good adaptation of the book as that puts me to sleep everytime I try to read it.

March of the Penguins. My wife wanted us to go. Everything was blue, while soft music played during the whole movie... I think. It knocked me right out. Not so much from boredom as from much needed sleep and ideal conditions. My wife is still mad at me about that one.

Top Gun....couldn't make it through. I wasn't expecting some sappy love story.
The only stupid question is the one not asked.

In a theater....never.
Late night movie on T.V.? Daily, or I should say nightly. Check your guide for movie info. |

Isn't this the same thing as walking out on a movie?
![]() While watching a rental of 'The Prestige' I fell asleep twice! Finally got to see it all though. |

Never fell asleep at a movie theatre, but fell asleep during a theatre production. Phantom of the Opera. It wasn't because it was bad, I just hadn't slept in 28 hours so it caught up to me.
I fall asleep to movies every night going to be. |

Oh yeah, and I also fell asleep half way into Superman Returns. Not because it was bad, just because it was at a drive-in movie theatre and it was 2AM

"Tarzan, the Ape Man" with Bo Derek. I went to sleep during the underwater anaconda fight scene, woke up ten minutes later, and the fight was still going on...
also, "The Spy Who Came In from the Cold" I also went to sleep at a Michael Murphy concert back in about '82...

I fell asleep during Bram Stoker's Dracula. I watched it again years later and was surprised to notice I loved it
![]() This doesn't count, but I did faint during Death Becomes Her...
