Hi all,
I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself here as I just became a new member to KI and I am very pleased, happy and excited to be a part of such a great organization such as KIDabara. I have been a children's and family-focused entertainer for over 22 years now and I simply could not see myself doing anything else. I think this is a great organization and I hope to become a bit more active in it and help and assist and learn along the way. Let me share a bit more about myself if I could so people can get to know me a bit better. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia with my wife kelly. Kelly is not only my partner in life but also my partner on stage. She and I work together as a magical team to produce the shows that we perform each year. She is also becoming a very accomplished magician in her own right and also is into puppets and puppetry. We live in Pottstown, PA and just moved into our first new home. That only means more space to fill with more magic and illusions and props. hehe I am a member of the Society of American Magicians, Magicians Alliance of Eastern States as well as co-leader of the Philadelphia Society of Young Magicians (teaching kids magic ages 7-17. I am also now a proud member of KIDabara. =) I have also been lucky to become a featured columnist for 2 large ezines I have been fortunate enough to write for. One is weekly for Alan Watson's ezine and another monthly for Smoke and Mirrors. I am very grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts and ideas on magic and entertaining to others. When I am not performing my magic for family-style crowds in markets ranging from birthday parties to blue and gold dinners to fairs and festivals, I am a graphic designer and illustrator by trade. I specialize in creating customized art and design materials for entertainers and businesses. I guess my 5 years of art school has to pay off sometime. hehe I am also very adament about expanding creativity in the art of children's entertainment and entertainers in general. I talk about creativity a lot as well as write about it as often as I can. I also have been fortunate enough to create a full lecture on creativity called "Encore!" and have been able to present it at SAM Nationals in Dallas last year ad a few magic clubs in my area. The idea ebhind it is to not show people so much tricks but to explain that we do not always need more tricks, but need to learn key ways in which to be more creative with the magic we already have. I am also very heavily intersted and into marketing and continue to study it and apply it to my own magic buisness and help others to understand the impact it can make in their own business. Thanks for allowing me to become a part of KIdabara and I look forward to meeting some of you and having the chance to share and learn with you all. Kyle

Welcome Kyle,
I'm sure when you get the opportunity to go to a KIDabra Conference, you will say, "This is the 'Convention' for me!" Like yourself, they are very much into sharing and exchanging ideas. And their Aution, you'll wish you had enough money to buy it all. Thousands of items, and they are all related to entertaining children. So great buys too!. My best is a Audio-Teck wireless system for $7.00. I bought a mic for it and it is rock solid wireless system!
