Liked the old sepia effect. Looked like you were having fun.

He told me fan sent him film and he put this together for them...very nice!
This was posted January 29...and yours was posted....hmmmmm.

Chris (magic storyteller) only lives a little ways from you, yes, Sam? About an hour, I think. He has told me you have "appeared" at his shows and that you had blog with his same magic tricks after perhaps you had seen him perform? He says you are "nice guy" and seems to think you good person but I wonder if nice guy copy others like this? It is nice to respect others and be original, not a "copy cat" I think? We must all strive to be original...
I do not think he does "floating hanky" but it would seem that his video was put up one day before yours! and you have the same hat and the same "vintage" look to your video.
Funny coincidence...or not?

Louis, I Pm'ed you.... and also, I've been wearing that hat for the last 4 years in my performances. It was a gift from my brother that I proudly wear. I had not yet seen Chris' video. If you look at everything else I'm wearing in mine, Its hardly "vintage"... a Flame covered bowling shirt and a tshirt that says "Talented in so many ways".... the "vintage look" was only because it came with the software I use with my camera. If it would make you happier, I could re-do it in Chris Angel\David Blaine cutaway style....

Let's be nice, Louis!
I think my old friend is being very protective of me, which is appreciated. However, I'm going to leave it as "coincidence" and get on with my day! Sam is a great guy. I met him at the Mark Wilson lecture at Hampel's outside of St. Louis. If anything maybe it's similar influences as I know Sam's into magic history probably as much as I am...and we're roughly the same age.
Geez, Sam, you're causing a controversy! Houdini would be proud!

If Houdini would have had Muvee video editing software, Imagine the controversy he could have created! LOL

BTW, Chris, Nice video. I dig the Victorian style, even though I quit using it myself about a year and a half ago.... too much to deal with doing street performance in wool trousers and frock coat... make a fella sweaty!
