Up until now, I have stayed away from coin effects.
That was until I bought Randy Wakeman's Lake Tahoe Bar Magic DVD. His Coins to Glass blew me away so I got to work learning it with 2ps, which has worked out well except for the part where I have to manuovre two coins into classic palm position without the use of the other hand. Randy picks them up at the fingertips then clench his fist to place them into palm, but does not explain how. Can this one handed move be found in BoBos? My brothers got a copy I could pinch. Thanks for the help.
So much to do. So little time.

The Classic Palm is the first thing taught in Bobo's. However, other sources teach it more thoroughly.

Sorry if I have not been clear. What I need to know is how to position two coins into cp from fingertips.

X is this about getting the coins from the fingertips to CP in one hand?
if so, have a look at some older texts or ... you balance the coins on the middle two fingers, use the first and fourth fingers as a guild and then curl your fingers so the coins stay gripped and guided... hope than helps
...to all the coins I've dropped here

There are other coin switches like the demachage change or my crimp change
that I find much easier and look better |

Hey Vin,
You may wish to read what this thread is actually about before you post. HAHAHAHA. He was NOT talking about switching coins in the least. However if you have some tutorial for classic palming coin from the fingertips that would probably meet his needs. And Mr. X, JT is right on when he gives you a method. An important thing to take note of is the movement of the thumb when classic palming like that. And I believe that Roth gave a tip and that was to touch the thumb to the tip of the index finger. (this keeps the thumb from jetting out to the side as you execute the move. Corey |

And if you are new to coin magic... try not to have your thumb sticking out and flagging the move while you do it. Keep it natural.

Well unless you make that thumb sticking out your magic wand. I wiggle my thumb and 1 coin goes across etc.
Don't work against it, work with it. Of course there are some parts where the wand prinsip can't be used, for secretly palming when the attention of focus is not on that hand. |
