Hi !
I bought the illusion "the web" from Jack Murray one year ago . It's really very well built . It's now time for me to put it in my show...but I would like to have some little "tricks" from people who bought this illusion and worked for some time with it ! regards allan |

I would contact Lance Richardson, the creator of the effect or Sean Scott. Both of them have more experience with it than anyone else. They are both members here at the Café.

Hi Allan,
Have you bought anything else from Dream Illusions? I have one of their Fire Cages, which is exceptionally well designed. It assembles in minutes and is a fabulous prop. Very deceptive, and I get lots of terrific feedback from audience members and event planners. Great pricing, too. I'm thinking of buying another stage illusion from them, but wasn't sure which one to get. Rich |

Rich,
Said it before and will say it again "The Web" is awesome. We perform it all the time and it gets GREAT responses. And the price is awesome too. Thanks Lance for letting Jack bring this effect to life. Best

Hi guys !
I know 'the web" is an incredible prop ...as all other props from Jack ! I would like to find a good way to present this illusion on stage...That's the reason why I'm coming to you for some help and ideas ! I would like not the phase with the rope not to be too long for the audience... I would like not to speak for a long time and I am a little afraid to loose the audience at that time... |

If you didn't want to take time to thread the rope during the performance, you could have it already threaded and pointout with audience members on stage that it is a single continuous rope that is threaded, and even tug on the rope...you could also use a curtain like in the sub-trunk have the assistants raise it, lower and your through. I'm a larger size guy, so I'm going with that version until the skinny me shows up...

How about this.
MAGICIAN: I would like to present an effect called The Web, it was inspired by my pet spider Fred (audience hopefully will laugh) I always found it interesting that Fred was able to pass through his own web but his prey could not. Tonight I play the part of Fred. MUSIC STARTS: Magician weaves the web then passes through it. Or Talk about the inspiration thing from above and leave out the Fred stuff, music starts then you see a very sexy assistant looking kind of like a black widow come out, she dances around with the rope and weaves them through the frame, once done you pass through it. I am honored that my Web illusion has been embraced by so many, it surpassed my wildest dreams. Thanks for all your support. Lance Richardson |
