Make a tent with the blankets, turn on a flashlight and "read" Playboy.

Not that I am that interested, but... around here, the tent makes itself... and the flashlight is necessary due to the onset of blindness.

I nudge my wife and say "are you awake?" Sometimes I have to say it several times before she answers.

The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

I'm sleeping. Or my wife and I are, well.... you know Barring those options, I'm reading or solving Sudoku until I can't keep my eyes open anymore.
I'm not usually one for lazing around in bed- when I'm awake, I feel like I'm wasting my day if I don't get up and start doing something. -Erik

I remember.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

I change the bedding - read - sleep - (NOYB) - and sort the wash too.
Probably should also keep a notebook so when I am half asleep and seeing things funny I can sketch how the clock or the view out the window looks.
