Greetings,
It bothers me a lot to find out the differences among "mentalism", "mental magic", "real magic", and "bizarre". Could anyone give me a clue? |

Weinitor - You might want to rephrase you sentence mate.
If I understand yout though your looking at what the difference is between these styles? If so I think Wikapedia is your best bet, translation wise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mentalism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_%28illusion%29 mescalito
The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

In a test of my anti-psychic ability, I see this as being the beginning of a long and winding thread.

This may help you to have a better understanding. I’ll give you some effects as examples of the labels.
Mental magic- you ask a person to name a card and then show them it is the only card in the deck with a red back. Mentalism- you ask a person to think of a card and then tell them what card they are thinking of. Bizarre- you ask a person to name a card after telling a strange story and then show them it’s the only card stained with blood. Real magic- can’t help you on that. If you want more info send a pm. lostpoet |
