So Ive heard Luke Jermay has a handling of an invisible deck or some sort where he holds up sighs that have various statements written on them. Does anyone have any info on the effect or where I could possibly find it. PM me if nessicary. Also is his show still running in vegas?

You are thinking of an effect he released as a private manuscript titled, "Words". There are two different Presentations. One with an Invisible Deck, and one Without. As far as I know, they are all sold out, but you could just e-mail him directly and ask him if he has any left. luke_jermay@yahoo.com

I saw Luke lecture awhile ago he shared a close up handeling as well as a stage handling. Both were brilliant. PM me for more details.

I got my copy pretty quickly -- but is anyone else bothered by the endless typos in the book? Really good ideas, poorly conveyed. There are some sentences I have to reread several times to realize exactly what is being said. It's frustrating and I don't understand why someone didn't do a better job of editing it. Fortunately, the solid material is worth the effort, but just comes off as unprofessional to me.

I totally agree with you Mindbender. The typos and excruciatingly poor writing are a real distraction. This seems to be a problem with all of his releases and detracts from the enjoyment I usual expect from reading a good mentalism book. As you said, it's a pity he or someone didn't just take a little time to proof read and edit properly.

Come on guys, what else would you expect from him - he will never change!
A message for Harry H, you are wrong about waiting until the year 3000. It is more like 4000 |

Anything I have ever ordered from Luke has shown up within a day. He's always been great to deal with. Have you guys really had issues with delivery, or are you just piling on?

It's not just typos and poor grammar, but an entire missing section in one of his explanations! Pengiuns solution? Go to their website to see a video explanation of that missing section. Not a great way to produce timeless, classic books. |
