I have an original 'Demon' 6 movement life size cheeky boy vent head. I believe it's made of papier-mache and has a wooden operating rod and base at the neck. It's has eyebrow raise movement, independent eye lid movements, eyeball movement to look sidways, lower jaw mouth movement and upper lip curl movement. It has a very good lifelike paint job, is in good condition and has a wig attatched.

Any one got an idea of the sale value of this? I've been looking on ebay but haven't seen anything similar come up for sale.

I'm not sure if it's value is lessened or increased by it's age and the style of the figure. Are there colectors of these vent doll heads?

Thanks for any help.

Neal.

Neal,
Contact Dan over at:
http://ventriloquistcentral.com

He is a collector and should be able to give you an idea of it's worth. He even has a buy/trade section on his site and may be willing to list it for you.

If you haven't already found the info you want...

It sounds like a Davenports of London figure, either made by Len Insull or Geoff Felix (if it is Geoff made it will have a band of black paint at the top of the control rod).
