The description says that you need a pen... and if so... it sounds rubbish.

I appreciate what your saying if this is employing a regular confabultation method but the pen is easily justifiable for writing down the numbers. Perhaps you should reserve judgement till you know a little bit more ?;p

Sure, it might be good.

A pen hanging around doesn't bother me. But in the UK at least, a lottery ticket is printed... and not in the "clearly print in block capitals" way.

I totally agree but the pen doesn't neccesarily insinuate this is the case ala korans medallion. Maybe it is similar to a predicta style effect, Who knows, I'm not going to try and second guess the method till I know a little more about the effect. I'll wait and find out ;p

Hi yes I have the book Some Tricks in which this effect is printed.I bought it thinking it to be the one on YouTube by Nate someone.

My opinion is that its rubbish.Its not printed on the ticket.It's messy and requires a lot of set up.You can buy the effect set up for £90! About $180.Not worth anywhere near that.

Er..because it's rubbish.You may as well use a forcing pad.

Anthony uses several nuances which have been used before but the effect is good & will play well. Buy his Some Tricks book for like 15 bucks has some other nice routines it along with Natural Lottery.

As a prediction trick maybe it would be good.But as a lottery prediction trick it has a major flaw-the numbers are written down!

Errmmm... Wouldn't a teeny weeny bit of duel reality solve the whole 'written not printed' thing!?

The now famous "Nathan" vid is clearly heavily edited, he got a standing ovation at the end of the show, that also appeared on the online vid on his opening Lottery effect as one of the edits.

With a little thought Anthony's could be presented in EXACTLY the same way as Nathan's in fact it would'nt suprise me if Anthonys was how Nathan got the idea.

I perform this with my own tweaks and it kills each and every time and I don't use a pen, I use a printed real lottery ticket.

I'm confused - it says on the blurb "Amazingly these numbers prove to be the same six which are on the printed lottery/lotto ticket the magician bought earlier that day and has been carrying in the zippered compartment of his wallet!"

maybe its cos I'm tired?! though as I'm re-reading this thread...maybe its becoming clearer...the mention of Koran is making the penny possibly drop...

I am familiar with the workings and have seen AO perform it live. I have to say that it was very impressive to see performed and it does 'play well', despite the method being nothing new.
