Thanks for the kind thoughts all! I try to keep my passions to myself...don't try to push my kids in any one direction. However, my daughter seems to have been watching me much closer than I thought!
She cries every time I leave the house to go do a show. It's sweet and sad. She's been my kid volunteer for shows at our church, a few times while busking, and during my Christmas show. Now she thinks that we're partners! The problem is that I think she's catching up to me on the talent end...and she's already got me on looks and personality! I think I passed my prime without realising it... |

Aren't kids great.
The one person I would like to see do cups and balls is ... and I'm not sure if he even does them but he is a master at misdirection and productions and I'm sure he would have a very interesting take on it. My pick would be David Stone. |

I'd like to see Marilyn Monroe do the cups and balls.
kidding,... I'd like to see Charlie Miller do the Indian Cups and Balls because the routine has an exotic romance to it and very few have bothered to master it from what I can tell. |

David stone would be great to watch.
I love aldo colombinis version as well, he does with 3 different color balls. Its not so impressive for laymen but it is for magicians. Oh I forgot to mention id like to see Richard Sanders, Garrett Thomas and Gregory Wilson perform this. |

I would like to see Gregory Wilson- because he is good at everything, and a pimp.
I would also like to see Criss Angel perform it, because that would be funny. ANd it would be cool to actually see me perform it ( I haven't performed in a while)- Kyle |

Ger Copper
Bill Palmer Teller I saw Ger Copper perform and teach his cups and balls at an Abbotts get-together, wonderful! I believe he used sponge balls, very magical. Much of the magic took place with the cups mouth upwards very different and fooled everyone terribly! First time I ever saw Filpstick and the use of a topit too. Mr. Palmer, with all his C&B knowledge and performance experience, esp. at Renaissance festivals, he has to be something to watch! Teller, did a great cup and ball routine during his Renaissance festival days. He used wine goblets, so there was no stacking just beautiful vanishes, transpositions and appearances with apples for a finale. As you know he works silent and to hold a Ren fest crowd with a silent act took charisma. |

I hate to say this, but I still don't have a full three cup routine. My routine is basically a slight modification of the Don Alan chop cup routine.
But I do know how to have fun with it!!!!

With all of your knowledge of history, your brain probably ran out of room.
I've just discovered the beginnings of a routine a couple months ago. No original phases. Just a different way to get there.

Nah, I'm still putting some things together. I should have the routine I am working on ready by the end of the summer.
I work on the classics very slowly. I assemble material, evaluate it, try to imagine the audience impact, play with it, then finally put a routine together. I did this about 30 years ago with the Linking Rings. My wife hates the Linking Rings. So I worked with the Vernon routine, a routine that Internation Magic Studio used to sell, and several others. I boiled what I had down to a three ring routine that takes 1 minute and 55 seconds. It always gets lots of applause.

Michael Ammar: He does it so effortlessly!
Ricky J: Love his flawless Patter! Gazzo: That final "hat" load gets me every time! I was blessed to see Cellini perform live over 30 years ago at a "Continuing education" Convention in Denver, Co.. I was set up in a booth right next to him & watched him perform all day long, over & over again! I fell in love with the "Cups & Balls" watching him perform his routine so well!

Joachim Solberg - superb technice and very entertaining
Gazzo - nead I say more Geatan Bloom - just to se what he could dome up with For non magicians it would be fun to se Arnold "the guvuner" Swartzeneger - The macho cups Jim Carry - I wondwe if I could focus on the cups instead of his face Dr. Phil - so he could analize what's wrong with the relationship between cups and tha balls

Dai Vernon - Do I really need a reason?
Rannie (AKA - The Boss) - I really like the way he presents and talks while doing the routine. Gazzo - His humor adds so much to the magic of cups and balls. And just for laughs - Criss Angel - He would probably use cups around the size of these - http://69.89.31.132/~cupsandb/museum/ima......ants.jpg . His final loads would have to be something goth and never done before, like live bats (forget chicks!).
