Hey guys, what in your opinion, is the best pre-show prediction, and by who? E.g. You send something to the event organiser and predict something which has happened since or on that day...

When I say the best, I mean everything looked at. Practability, price, effect, method etc, everything rolled into one...

Thanks

Low tech for me: Ed Carlyle Fowler's Headline Prediction (called Buttertub). Multiple predictions in one envelope and a good introduction story.

Ask a rubbish question, get a rubbish answer.

What can possibly be derived from that?

Whats the event? When is it? What's your character, budget, existing effects etc etc etc etc?

Mine is the best, because it cost me less than a buck and works everytime.

I haven't seen a rubbish answer yet...except for yours...just in the mentalist section, would have expected quite a few replies due to the strength in this effect. What can be derived? Whatever your opinion is to the question asked...it's a simple question which could lead to a simple answer, as everyone has done. I am after what the mentalists think is the best all round pre-show prediction...what is rubbish about that question?

The event is the 60th Anniversary of the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK, so is a rather big event, it is on 31st May 2008, my character is...me? Hard to say as my performance is a mix of serious, comedy...well...just entertainment to be honest. There is no budget, I will pay for what I believe will work, no matter what the cost as if something is that good, it will make the money back through performances

It is my work and was in part what got me on to Phenomenon.
(Used for it for my first audition)

I am sorry however that it is not a product that can be sold.

Best Wishes,

Jim

See this thread to learn why this could be construed as a 'rubbish' or silly question:
