Also to give you a little more information. He died last tuesday morning or an asthma attack. He was buried on Saturday. He left a wonderful wife and a very nice young man of a son, both of whom I've met, and a daughter I haven't met. Those are the only children I know of. His extended family is quite large as well. All of the ones I've met are wonderful people.
Now you know we hustlers are real people just like anyone else, and while our outlook on life is very different, everyone has a family and friends and a real life outside of their work, just like anyone else does.

Hey T&B! Thanks for coming by and telling us more. It's better coming from you since you knew him personally. I wanted to make sure he got a shout out over here as well.

Whit has mentioned that School for Scoundrels has purchased the rights to the Gambling Sam video from its creator, and will be including it on the next Scoundrels Shell Game DVD in much higher resolution than the U-tube video we've all seen.
Also, the DVD will be dedicated to Gambling Sam's memory, a true master of his craft. It's nice to see Whit do this. |

I wonder if T&B will get royalties? lol!
Interesting that you posted this today. I forgot to put a shout out to Gambling Sam on my Derby pick post. The Derby was always a big time for Sam and his boys.
