I am hoping to impress some I know by performing a few effects through email. I had thought of some psychological forces - naked mentalism perhaps? - but if there are any recommendations or suggestions of what I could do or consider, I'd be grateful.

Thanks for all these suggestions. I have bought RPS Entity but the one I have tried out so far is Dan's brilliant equivoque effect recommended by aceofhearts. It's a delight to perform and having a lot of fun with it.

Certainly Naked Mentalism will work. Perhaps the Naked Book Test would be the most impressive. Abraxus came up with some presentation ideas for it that are in NM and which you could adapt to email.

In view of my interest in email mentalism, Jon kindly demonstrated the naked booktest to me and, in the space of a remarkably few emails, correctly picked up on the word I had picked from a book. I was most impressed and, if you are interested in performing some effects with friends by email, the naked techiques work - and work well.

Yes, I am continuing to baffle many with Dan Harlan's wonderful effect.

Another good effect I have used for a bit of fun in emails is the 'no grey elephants in Denmark' routine.

Also, I am not yet familiar with it, but I was just wondering if Joshua Quinn's Duplicity could be performed by email? I gather it can be performed over the phone. If anybody could advise, would be grateful.
