Wondering what experiences people had using the srm150. I am about to buy it, and wondered how it worked out for others.

A couple of people have posted on them. I, personally, prefer the sound from a Roland CM-30 but the Roland is not as powerful (nor as expensive.) Here's a link to a review, as well as my comments on the Roland: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=11
Here's another with a brief review by Dennis Michael: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=11 |

There have been some very good reviews on the Fender Passport PD 150Plus system. Several members seem to own this and are very satisfied. Comes with a built in CD player and a mic. $150 watt, 33 lbs, and packs and looks like a suitcase. AC power only (not DC) but that's fine for my show needs. I am seriously considering to purchase this model for my corporate shows which are usually held in a local hotel reception room with 150-200 guests.
http://www.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=0693005000 specs found at: http://www.fender.com/products//view_spe......150+Plus I have found it for sale at a local (Montreal) music shop for $585 a customized protector cover can be bought for around $25. Stands are extra, but I am told that these can (sometimes) be negotiated into th efinal sale of new equipment. Hope this helps. Jonathan
