Please read the thread in the Penny For Your Thoughts forum with the title: Is it time for a new forum just for Psychics.

The ongoing tension, arguments and bannings might be resolved if a seperate forum for those more psychically inclined were to be created. Everyone could still post in both the psychic forum and the one meant for mentalism for entertainment, but each would respect the other and not try to intrude on, attack, or derail the threads because of ethical or ideological differences.

It would certainly be an improvement over what's happening now.

We might also need, as you will see in the thread suggested above by entity, a very thoughtful person, a distinct section for skeptics, debunkers, those who insist on disclaimers by mentalists, etc. They probably won't stay there, but at least it gives them a place to vent their anger.

The actual problem is the lack of respect for alternate opinions, borders do not change that. Who decides who the "psychic oriented folks" are, and who kicks out the "non psychic oriented" folk when they encroach on "psychic oriented" territory?
Furthermore, it is a fallacy to believe that all the posts some mentalists have issue with came from a "psychic oriented" frame of mind.
