Has anyone used and what is your review fo the manipulation bills now offered? Are they as easy as card to fan and back clip? Thanks.

I am currently using them in my Mack The Knife routine. They are not on card stock and you will have to work with them to use them like cards.

Do these feel like real money? Also, can anyone recommend some sources for bill manipulation? From the looks of some videos, the methods are similar to card manipulation but I'm sure that because the bills are obviously longer than cards, some handling would have to be modified and new methods would have to be used for bills. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Just got mine in today. When you make the order purchase fanning powder too. Because the bills are kinda sticky. I am going to try baby powder first to see how that works.

Dealing with the size from 1 - 10, I'll give it a 10. Because regular bills are easy to notice when back palmed because of the length. The larger Manipulation Bills are cut the perfect size to hide behind the hand. The smaller Manipulation Bills are a little bigger than a playing card.

Dealing with the front from 1 - 10, I'll give it a 9. The coloring looks right. The words look right. But the photo has a different person other than George Washington. But no one may notice it performing it fast and smooth on stage.

Dealing with the back from 1 - 10, I'll give it a 9. The layout is great, but the coloring is not green like real bills. The coloring matches the front.

Dealing with the texture and thickness, presently I'll give it a 10. I just got mine so I do not know how long it last yet. But the paper is thicker than average paper, less thicker than a playing card. The texture is smooth, making the spread easy.

That's a good enough number. It would be great if there was an instructional DVD with it. I wonder if such a dvd exists. But I guess the card manipulation dvds existing would suffice.

Right, John Blake's. I just noticed it reads it comes with fanning powder at the end of the paragraph. That was not true with my order. When you order it, ask if it comes with fanning powder. http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php......0&page=6

The baby powder does work for me. It helps me spread them out envenly. When the powder is on the cards bend them different directions as Levent and McBride decribes. It helps the cards from being too stiff while palming.

Would these bills be good for the Osaka Bills routine?

Good question. I was a little nervous in folding one to try. But I gave it a try. Because of the thinknes I advise not good for the Osaka rountine. They can wear out fast. I suggest using cheap fake money for the Osaka rountine.

Manipulation Bill routine can be found in a out of print book called "The Magic of Facett Ross" published by Supreme Magic.

There is a complete bill act in Bruce Elliot book, it is an old book and has been reprinted many times. I have on of the pocket books. I cannot think of the name of the book, but Harry Murphy constantly tells everyone to pick up a copy for all the great magic in it.

Fred Kaps had his own manip bills printed. The size and texture was just right by doing them himself.

I have it in hardbound. It is titled "Magic As A Hobby". It teaches the manipulation of Kolma. I love the rountine.

I have his book titled "Fred Kaps' Currency". It shows his 11 card trick done with dollar bills.
