In his Inside Magic notes, Greg Wilson (not the son of Mark) taught a coin production that he simply called "the snap production." Later in the Convention at the Capital video, he taught a routine called "A Fist Full of Dollars" in which he called the move "the Doug Wick snap production." I know he republished this routine in his "In Action" DVD series (I believe it is in volume 1).
Perhaps he elaborates in "In Action"? Maybe someone who has the "In Action" series or someone who knows who in the world Doug Wick is can help me hunt down where exactly this move came from. Thanks so much. |

I'm Doug Wicks. I came up with this production and showed it to Greg back in the early '90s. He's gotten a lot more mileage out of it, much more than than I have, which is typical of Greg. He certainly has the ability to extract the cream of the seemingly mundane.

Dude...shouldn't you be rehearsing your act for The IBM/SAM convention? Get back to work.
As far as the move in question...it is pretty, but I have a difficult time making it look good...so I gave up on it. Greg Wilson of course...makes it look great. Rich B. |

Peter,
You were awesome at Bob Little's Convention! What a beautiful act! It was the highlight of the convention for me! Ben S
