You hint that it's used for making drugs or getting high. I would like you to alaborate on that because I can't find any information on anything like that. Phenolpthalein is mainly used as a litmus test. It's also used in identifying blood. Ever watch CSI? You see when they are testing possible blood and they swab it and add chemicals to it... one of them is Phenolpthalein. Phenolpthalein is also used in toys. The color changing hair on the 'Hollywood Hair Barbie doll'... guess how it works? That's right.. Phenolpthalein. Do a search. Phenolpthalein is easy to get a hold of and is extremely cheap. You can find it for sale all over the place. I have had no problem buying it and I live in the U.S. Randi |

While I believe that kay probably confused phenolpthalein with pseudoephedrine (the stuff in decongestants), you didn't need to tear her head off, Randi.
But, no use letting good blood go to waste, so, I'll start licking the walls. The ceiling is up for grabs but I wouldn't recommend eating off the floor in this place.

Nope, yep, Randirain is right, I had the wrong chemical issue, Pheolpthalein is currently having issues with carcinogenicity not precursors. (Actually I was thinking of phenylacetone! doh!) though I do not think I said YOU were wrong,

I saw only your post where you declared (quite directly at her), " You are wrong " Honestly, that's a pretty strong statement in Internet-land, unless followed by a smiley or something. No need to be defensive, we're all nice people here. Well, most of the time, if we're not practicing cannibalism or something. But anyway, glad we got it all sorted out now. But, it might not be long before they do ban the stuff. They're banning everything. Just try getting your hands on carbon-tetracholride or/and carbon disulfate to make some Fire Alarm fluid these days, good luck! You can't. (And the whole psuedoephedrine thing these days really ****es me off)

I looked those up, because I thought I might actually have a chance. But.. no... I have a company account on Carolina Science and can order chemicals. But those were not there. I even looked up alternate names, but no luck. So yo got me on that one. I also looked up phenylacetone.. that's a big no too. Not even the stuff you use to make it. Randi |

True, dat.
Women can have it tough here, too, though, for the most part, we are nice people, like I said. But sometimes, they're harassed, or stalked. It can be like a pack of hungry wolves around here. Anyone remember Autumn Sinclair? She stopped coming here because of some of the lude PMs she got. Our loss. Anyway, I had another thought: A/B blood, or even better, Kryolan blood powder. http://www.fxsupply.com/kryolan_catalog/artificial.html You might also get some good ideas from this one-of-a-kind webpage; I love this page and would like to keep it to myself, but I will reveal it here anyway.. http://www.ringofsteel.org/reference/stageblood.html

Down the page is an "A + B" chemical concoction which makes two clear liquids which turn blood red when combined. Water into blood, anyone?
