Did you know that a very successful songwriter always pocketed any coins he found on the street? He would save it all up and, when he had a couple of hundred, donate it to charity.

Since he is successful, why not just donate a fixed small portion of his earnings from the copyright of his songs being played as that would be easier and more substantial?
