How can we answer that when we can only see the forefoot containing the five toes (phalanges); the midfoot is barely visible with its pyramid-like collection of bones that form the arches of the feet, which also include the three cuneiform bones, the cuboid bone, and the navicular bone, and not visible is the hindfoot which forms the heel and ankle where the talus bone supports the leg bones (tibia and fibula), forming the ankle?
