Hi folks,

Many years ago, I had a metal TT that was equipped with a wick...
Unfortunately, I cannot find it in my trunk.
Can anybody tell me what this was called or where I can get a replacement?

thanks, Doug

I made one myself from an aluminum TT and a wick from an old Zippo. Can you get either one?

Could it have been the UF Grant candle lite
I have one but mine is not metal, I forgot what brand the thumb, I think it is a Vaurnet, mine has a metal fitting were the wick is.

That would work. Try a metal gromet in a plastic thingee.

I have this, I just dug it up after a long time in my drawer. I will look through all my old instructions to see what it was used for. I am pretty sure John Iacono is right.

It's a Vernet Thumb Tip Flame. They run about 7-10 dollars. I've replaced the cotton wick on mine with a piece of kevlar. I found the cotton was burning too fast.
