Does anyone in the Café here have any history on the one handed shuffle?
like who first did it ans so forth. |

Roberto Giobbi in CC 2 credited the one hand riffle shuffle to Howard de Courcy, and it's on Hugard's Magic Monthly Dec 1945 Edition. I don't know if this the first time it appeared in print or not.

Is there such thing as a one hand "riffle" shuffle. the cards are being weaved not riffled.
