I am not a huge C.A. fan but before you say how awful C.A. is I would say for you to watch some Jay Sankey stand up material. BTW I have heard C.A's stage is incredible. The clip is funny though.

Funny, I guess. But let's face it, spoofing Criss Angel, especially for a magician and for the amusement of other magicians, is like shooting fish in a barrel.

This confirms again why I have Sankey up there as a all time genius - this and Boris Pokus proves his ability to blend numerous forms of theatre (comedy, mentalism, magic, satire, pathos) all in one...

Boris Pokus is my #1 magic DVD; not for the effects taught, but for the entertainment value.

Criss's biggest supporter, Johnny Thompson, is no longer in his camp.

Wow, when did that happen. Do you know under what circumstances? He's losing all the good people around him. Johnny's gone, Banachek's gone. Besides Miss Nevada, is there anyone left?

Maybe Mr. Thompson said "Gee wiz, I gotta look at myself in the mirror once in a while.... I gotta go!"

I read it on this forum, so I cannot verify the story, but Johnny Thompson's contract was up and they did not renew it.

For anyone who has the temerity to put this forward as art http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Ie1QI9qAwhA to criticise others, is beyond belief.

I've just started watching a little of both Sankey and Angel.
In my opinion, so far, Angel has a way better presence when performing; he's much more 'watchable'. Sankey comes off as trying way too hard and trying to be the Robin Williams of magic.... which isn't possible. That's just my opinion so far. Things might change as I see more, but for now..... |

I do not like ca but, he is popular with the younger crowd and has made it easier for me to book close-up for teens and collages. For this I am greatful to him and Blaine.
