So, here is the deal. I wrote a book. Yeah, I know what you are saying right now, "Don't you have to read a book once before you try writing one?" Yuk Yuk, how funny! The answer is "No." They let most anyone write a book these days, and I am one of them.

So I wrote a book. I had lots of help, so it turned out pretty good. It is called The Modern Con Man: How To Get Something For Nothing. It is a book of bar betchas and other forms of larceny-lite. It is being put out by Bloomsbury. They are trying to make up for the big flop they had with that Harry Potter book series. It is being released on April 1st (Get it?). If you go to that amazon thing, you can find it there.

And for those of you in the NYC area, I have an invite. We that put the book together are all getting drunk in honor of the book seeing the light of day. The shindig is downtown on April 3rd from 8 to 10. PM me and I will hit you with all the details. So there.

Terrible. Worst book I ever read. Anyone reading this should DEFINITELY NOT get it. just throw it away. (Ignore the fact that Todd's DVD series has made me $173 a few weeks ago.)

Yes this book sucks! don't Buy it! Also don't do block head! it causes cnacer .... kin fact reading todds book will cause you to bet brain cnacer (not other book just this one!)

I don't expect that I'll be able to get this off the shelf in any of our Aussie bookstores, but the online price is fairly reasonable in comparison to the price books normally are here, so I might order one of these.

Yup, you can definitely find the book in stores like Dymocks or Borders. I bought mine from Dymocks.

I just picked this book up tonight from Williams Magic Mobile Shop. The shop/rig was very cool so I figure the book has to be decent.

I am anti Amazon these days since I found out they aren't paying sells tax to a state that is going bankrupt.

I betcha never seen one of these!

I am a bit late to this party but just finished this book. I have rad pretty much everything on this subject and found the descriptions in The Modern Conman to be the clearest I have found. One basic component in the NIM section is ignored in most books yet is the key to making it easy to do. There are some new things in the book and fun info as well. If you like the bar bets etc this is a must have.
