The 3 page ad for this in the April Issue of "Magic Magazine" predicts that we will all be discussing this p**K Wallet on the Café. So, let’s discuss…
Does anyone have a review or a recomondation? |

Or; in the interest of fairness - an avoidance warning?

I've seen it, played with it and have dreamed about it ever since! It's fiendish and I love it - a friend of mine picked a pre-release version up at Blackpool and I've been enviously plotting his demise ever since! If you see it in operation, have your credit card ready - the one inevitably follows the other in my opinion!

Gonna' have to sell a ton to break even on the three page ad. The small business card size one is around $50.

Hi Andy,
Can you give us a little about what it can do, similarity to Thought Transmitters, Outlaw, etc? Regards, Steve

Hmm... I think I saw this wallet to Blackpool.
It's clever but you MUST have a good angle and light. If it's the same one, I don't like it. TT is far better.

Seems that you can buy only by sending check or money order!!!!
Not really practical in the internet era... Quote:

I have it and like it. What I think is best about the wallet is you can place it to one side of your table and totaly ignore it as you get on with your trick but you can always take a sneaky look or sideways glance at any time and know what is inside. All without touching the wallet once its laid aside. A delayed peek. Very good.

As Chris says in the ad, this is a very James Bond like device. I was fortunate enough to get a few samples from Chris for it's upcoming release at the IBM/SAM convention. You can fully see what is in the wallet plain as day yet the spectator's can't see anything. It's really a brilliant idea and is one of the best peak wallets I have ever seen (in addition to just being very cool to play with).

It could be the best but if I can not buy it ...

Roth, I was refering to a conversation with a fellow magi who has the wallet
no, I haven't seen it yet, but was just relaying what I had been told by a previous reliable source and that was, that the method which is used by the TT also (weather it is a bonus or not is irrelevant to me), is not as good on the magnum (the angles I am told) if I am wrong, then I hopefully I wont be in touch with you regarding a refund...... my friend has just passed on his opinion to me about this, and seeing that he has always been a good source of information to me in the past, I just went with what he said I'll be in touch again when the magnum drops through my door........ |

I'm very interested in the Telethought but there hasn't been any pictures. How does the wallet look? Right now, I really like the look of the Magnum and apparently they both incorporate a similar 3M gaff. My decision is really going to come down to which wallet looks better, it will be a SAW replacement, I love how my SAW looks, anything less would be disappointing.

3 pages add in Magic Magazine .Huge investment.
But you must send money to one of his friend's paypal account????? Why he does not have his own??? Pretty confused here. I want to beleive that it is a serious product, but something is missing here in terms of selling facilities. Let's wait until the wallet is sold somewhere we can buy. Dear Adam, Good News! I checked at the post office and I was given three ways to ship the “Telethought Wallet “ to you .They are via “First Class International” which takes 5-10 business days. The cost is $8.80 for the shipping and $3.00 for the packing. Thus the total here would be $59 plus $11.80 or $70.80.My friend who has a Paypal account says if you want to send him the funds just include a note that it is for the “Telethought Wallet.” His Paypal account is toyxchange@aol.com If anyone else you know in the United Kingdom wants to order a “Telethought Wallet” they can send the above funds there too.Just please instruct them to include a note that the order is for the “Telethought Wallet.” Another way to ship the wallet is by “Priority Mail International.” That takes 6-10 business days and is $20.00 and comes with $61.28 in insurance.the third way is by “Express.” That,I was told takes 5 business days and costs $30.50. Adam,I would suggest the first method “First Class International.” If you decide to order a “Telethought Wallet” the total would be $70.80 (U.S.dollars) I hope this helps and my apologies in any ambiguities in my last e-mail.All the Best and I hope to hear from you shortly.Feel free to share the workings of the wallet with any fellow mentalist or magician.Take Care. Most Sincerely, Chris Kenworthey |

Please don't shoot the messenger, again Chris has asked me to post this:
Also, the reason I utilized the Paypal resources of my friend is that this was the most expeditious way to allow for international payments. It seemed that purchasers wanted to buy the wallet in the most convenient manner possible. So since the local toyshop owner I know has run a scrupulously honest toy business for several decades, I thought he would be the most prudent choice in this area.Purchasers of the “Telethought Wallet” can rest with 100%, absolute confidence that they are getting a top notch, state of the art product Thank you again for your invaluable assistance and expertise. All the Best. Most Sincerely, Chris Kenworthey |
