1) I consider Todd a friend and a teacher; so consider that this is not a con--I am telling you that my comments may be criticized by some who would say that I am not objective.

2) Using Todd's Modern Con Man DVD series (a few weeks ago at work) made me $173 (none of which goes to Todd--all of which I put in my pocket).

But, honestly, I have nothing to gain....

This book is awesome. I spent lot of time compiling the bets in the Modern Con Man DVDs and Paul Zenon's book 100 Ways to Win a Ten Spot (A great resource by the way), into a list tht I could easily reference. Basically, Todd has done the hard work for you and added in tons of stories, quips and scams that make Harry Anderson's "Hello Sucker" book what it should have been. (I love the bit about the TV salesman....). You will find out who to scam, where to scam and when to scam--subjects not typically covered in traditional resources. There is a bit of grifting history and tips on starting a cult.

The book is well written, funny and worth having on your library....I'm sure mine will pay for itself ten times over.

It is too bad it will have a wide appeal. I am sure Todd has a limited edition series planned...

I've just received this book and with only a quick browse I can only echo the comments that Jeremy has made. An excellent work..Todd should be proud..

I bought mine Friday nite at "Book Revue" in Huntington, LI. Love the book! Great stuff, very well written.

Todd- Book Revue does a lot of in-house promo stuff. They've had authors like Bill & Hil, Hannity, and almost everyone else who wrote a book stop in and sign- you should get in touch with them. They're the largest indy book store on the East Coast.

The largest indie bookstore in the US is Powell's books, in Portland....and I know the Powells...so Todd, head this way too!

Just ordered a copy off of Amazon. Really looking forward to reading it, Todd.

I hadn't read about "The Modern Con Man" here or elsewhere, but I too found it at Borders. It really is a fun read full of clever ideas and a lot of behind the scenes "color". A truly fun read!

Wow! What a GREAT little Book!

Todd is spilling all the goods and I love it! Just got my copy the other day and I already made $45 bucks! AND I didn't even leave the office! It's truly a step by step on how to make money off your own friends and family, amongst others!!!

I'm proud to call Todd, friend. I have known him since his early days in NYC, the 80's. It gives me great pleasure to see how far he has come! I can testify, first hand, that if it's a TODD ROBBiNS joint, it's a WINNER!
